Blink are delighted to announce that this week we received the news that the National Lottery Community Fund has awarded us £8,000 towards our campaign.
Yes, you read that right! £8,000... £8,000 !?
This was our first grant bid, and since we’ve only been a community organisation since last August, we are even more stoked about this news.
Part of the grant will be used to help set up our safeguarding and referral procedures; so when we start providing our core service of providing therapy to people, everything is ‘tickety-boo’
The other part of the grant will be used to help us set-up as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation. This will give us official charity status, that will open us up to more grants, more opportunities, and provide assurance to our supporters that we truly are not for profit .
